The Verdict

Massanutten is built for the student who needs a fresh start. While other academies filter for perfection, MMA filters for potential. With a 100% college acceptance rate, $159,000 average scholarship earnings, and a co-ed environment that mirrors the real world, it specializes in turning "average" students into scholarship-winning leaders.

As one of the few remaining coeducational military academies in the nation, MMA prepares cadets for reality—men and women working together in a structured environment. Nestled in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, this intimate 140-cadet Corps with its Honor Unit with Distinction JROTC program and STEM Diploma track isn't just a school; it's a turnaround engine.
